Keg decapper
The decapper is used for automatic removal of plastic caps from keg inlets. We offer it in various designs to suit each customers application.
Application
For 30 l and 50 l keg barrels.
Throughput
Up to 500 kegs per hour.
Construction
The decapping device is mainly based on a welded frame with a decapping head, a cap magazine, a keg conveyor and a centering stopper. Inverted kegs arrive on the slat band conveyor and are positioned by the stopper. The pneumatically driven decapping head then removes the cap from the keg. The whole device is made of stainless steel. The SEW Eurodrives are used by default.
