Static pallet inspector
The inspector is intended for checking pallet integrity and dimensions. It is usually used together with a bad pallet magazine or a discarding pallet conveyor. Pallets are stopped during the inspection.

Construction
The inspector is based mainly on a welded frame which supports load segments. It is mounted above a pallet conveyor. The segments consist of pneumatic cylinders aimed downwards with load feet mounted on their ends. Pallets pass under the frame and are pressed by the load segments with controlled force, which simulates the weight of load. The inspector checks pallet integrity and dimensions. If it detects a damaged pallet, it sends a signal to the control system and the pallet is discarded from the line.
